Meet the NCADD-SFV Prevention Services team bringing free, culturally tailored substance use prevention to youth and families in the San Fernando Valley.

Youth Empowerment
Our Prevention team mentors the youth enrolled in the Van Nuys LAPD Jeopardy program to live a drug free life and learn to make positive decisions. Jeopardy is a gang prevention and intervention program for youth and combines the strength of the community, neighborhood schools and the LAPD to affect positive, lifelong attitudinal changes in the youth.

Community and Parent Presentations
NCADD SFV Prevention helps parents and guardians shape their children’s future by improving social norms and empowering them through education. Our presentations provide general information on substances. Presentations cover topics on alcohol and drug trends, how to engage with your youth, and developing coping skills.
